December 28, 200421 yr HiIs there any "SAFE" way to stop the sound of the trim. ( sounds like clanking of scissors ) I believe it probably is quite authentic but gives me a headache when I use a headset.ThanksGraham
December 28, 200421 yr Commercial Member Find the wav file for it, back it up, then use a soundeditor such as Goldwave to overwrite the file with silence... Couldn't tell you off hand which file it is though - hopefully it's not integrated into the gauge. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
December 28, 200421 yr Commercial Member Found it:Go to SoundPmdg737tngThere's three files -PMDG_Trim.wavPMDG_TrimDown.wavPMDG_TrimUp.wavSilence those and you'll have what you're looking for - you could probably try just renaming them and seeing if that works, but I'm guessing the panel will probably CTD looking for a nonexistent sound. December 28, 200421 yr I noticed the same problem and for me is the same with spoilers sound to drag descent. Do not delete the files. You can easily change the volume of corresponding *.wav file. The files are: PMDG_Trim.wav, PMDG_TrimDown.wav, PMDG_TrimUp.wavin ...Flight Simulator 9SoundPmdg737tng folder. You can change the volume with standard windows editor: click right button of mouse on the *.wav file and select "record" (that is edit), in the menu options you'll find an option to lower the volume (have to be repeated 4-6 times to obtain an acceptable volume), after that save it before exit.Andrea
