January 5, 200521 yr I am in a holding pattern. ATC clears me for 34ILS. On the "Hold" page of the FMC I am supposed to "Arm" the "EXIT HOLD". How do I do that? I have searched this Forum without result and spent hours flying around Wellington on hold, even missed my dinner trying how to exit Hold. Any help would be appreciated. Happy New Year simmers!!FreddyG
January 5, 200521 yr Just press the LSK6R (EXIT HOLD) and then execute the command with EXEC button. You will see that the text changes to EXIT ARMED(in grey text) at LSK6R. When you reach the initial holding point again the aircraft will leave the holding. http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/checkcapt.jpg
January 5, 200521 yr You can exit a hold a few ways, one way is to perform a DIR TO. And yes once you ARM exit hold it will calculate and exit. Best Wishes,[h4]Randy J.
