Rwy lights before touch down where are they??

Hi guys, i was approaching the rwy with my PMDG aircraft when i suddenly noticed that there are no ILS lights which you notice prior to touch down. If i remember correctly I've seen them in past flight sims. p.s It was a night flight so i find this really odd i would really like to know since i've tried different airports and various RWYS as well.Thanks!

Not sure if this might have to do with it, but have you checked that your hardware rendered light setting in MSFS is set to 8?
