fdsfxpanel installation in PMDG 737: please help

Featured Replies

I downloaded this panel for cabin announcements, which works very well in the default planes. I tried to install it in the PMDG 737's in the same way as I installed it in the default planes, but it doesn't work. Can anyone give me some support? Thanks,Dirk

Dirk,I use those cabin announcements with the PMDG aircraft and they work fine.In my panel.cfg in the section Window01 I have the following line:gauge26=FlightDeckSFX!Icon_FlightDeckSFX, 630,608,16,16What exactly do you mean with 'it doesn't work'? Doesn't the panel show up, or isn't there any sound?CheersThomas

Sorry I was unclear, with do not work I meant that the panel as well as the sound does not appear. Is the line the only thing you have to add in the panel.cfg? Dirk

Yeah I had similar problems. In my case the panel did not show up View Instrument panel menu. I learned that you have to install the guage in the Virtual Cockpit panel config file as well. This is located in the aircraft directory under the folder "Panel.VC" otherwise it will only show up in the 2d panel model. I hope this helps you out.v/rTodd Hontz
