February 1, 200521 yr Ok.I have a problem with A/P disconnecting. I have isolated this to the A/c Inputs basically my joystick and or pedals. I have a Saitek X45 and have some rudder pedals.Force f/b is set off but still A/P disconnects. Any ideas on how to overcome this please.Andy.
February 1, 200521 yr Andy,Could be due to noise from the controller. Try increasing your dead zone on your controllers axises. May help you. Or use the Eliminate controller noise if you have a registered version of FSUIPC.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
February 1, 200521 yr You're not touching the controls while the A/P is engaged are you? If so it will revert to CWS modes.
Randy J. Smith
Randy J Smith
February 1, 200521 yr Ok.What are CWS modes and can you advise me on the FSUIPC setting to ignore controller noise.CheersAndyEGNX
February 2, 200521 yr I don't have the REGESTERED FSUIPC so could not tell you. CWS - Control Wheel Steering, think of AIRBUS's control stick. In CWS you can actually hold any pitch or roll and "let go" and it will REMAIN there until you move the controls once again. Really an amazing feat for flight simulator on any craft. It is the only one created for such a complex bird like the 737, that works with the AFDS. One example is pull back and set a desired climb rate, set the altitude on the MCP and watch the AFDS capture the altitude and level off to ALT HOLD....
Randy J. Smith
Randy J Smith
February 2, 200521 yr Andy,Should be on the Technical tab. Look for "Eliminate joystick spikes" or something similar. And download the latest FSUIPC. WE are now on 3.45 and it can be found here: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmlHope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
