What is the panel/screen between the two FMCs in the VC cockpit and how do you turn it on. I could not find any information on it in the manuals. Thanks in advance.

You need to sign your name on each post.The panel between the CDUs (Control Display Units. The FMCs, Flight Management Computers are stored down in the electronics bay) is the Lower DU (Display Unit). It is used in some display configurations on the NG. If you have the 800/900 add-on you can use this Lower DU by setting the displays to "Over and Under" configuration in the Styles menu. To use the Lower display press the ENG or SYS buttons just above the Upper DU to choose the different pages.Hope it helps,
