March 26, 200521 yr Hi all.Just a quick question:What is the difference between Freight and Cargo?I noticed that the Freight version of the B1900C has a rather bigger "belly" than the cargo version, which I guess is for extra storage. So,is it the amount of cargo carried that makes the difference?Thank you in advance-_______________________________Georgios Arkouzis http://www.ivao.org/data/images/flags/waving/small/GR.gif SX077http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg_______________________________
March 26, 200521 yr G'Day mateI honestly wouldnt have a clue, but my guess is that the Freighter carries the large boxes that are usually seen in the belly of Airliners, and a cargo version just carries anything that you can fit in it :)Very rough guess here mate. I honestly wouldnt know! Cheers,RyanProfessional Coffee Drinker/BAe146 DriverAircraft Maintenance Engineer

March 27, 200521 yr Has anyone thought of looking in the manual (dictionary)?Cargo1. goods carried as freight: goods carried as freight by sea, road, or air Microsoft
March 27, 200521 yr Well, since I don't own Encarta,I did think of looking it up into the web definitions, before asking here. ;)what I got is this:cargo:The freight carried by a ship, airplane, truck, or other vehicle. Now as far as freight is concerned, what I found out, again by searching before posting here,it mostly is about the method of transporting it and the payment method and regulations involved. From what I understand,it does not refer to the actual goods to be transported.Again this is only what I found in the internet. What my question should have been like then is,why the freight version of the B1900C has a bigger belly. Thank you for your time._______________________________Georgios Arkouzis http://www.ivao.org/data/images/flags/waving/small/GR.gif SX077http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg_______________________________
