March 26, 200521 yr Has anyone seen the view from the LDS767 during cruise? It has really great over the nose and side views. It feels like you're sitting up high.In the 737 VC, the dash is pretty much level with the horizon in cruise, and you can't really see too much. Is this accurate compared to the real PMDG737? If it is, fine. If it's not, what can I do other than "raising my seat"?Comments? Thanks,James
March 26, 200521 yr James,You can adjust your "seat height" with CTRL+ENTER, CTRL+BCKSPC. Or if it was SHIFT+ENTER, SHIFT+BCKSPC. Either one of those pairs of combinations. The other one will adjust forward/backwards. To move sideways you use CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER and CTRL+SHIFT+BCKSPC.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
March 26, 200521 yr Author Mats:Thanks for the response. I was actually more interested in knowing if the view angle is accurate compared to a real 737. Is the dashboard pretty much level with the horizon when sitting in the pilot's seat with the seat adjusted for the correct eye position?I know that I could just "raise the seat".Thnx,James
March 26, 200521 yr Hi.Never been into a real cockpit, but looking at the picture here ( http://www(delete_this).jumpseat.net/site/..._SBPA_Night.jpg ),the height of the PMDG cockpit seems quite ok.Maybe,it needs to be just a bit higher.I hope this picture helps._______________________________Georgios Arkouzis http://www.ivao.org/data/images/flags/waving/small/GR.gif SX077http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg_______________________________
