Ground power problems

Recommended Posts

Guest Groundcrew

Can anyone help. With the sim cold and dark, when I turn on the battery, I don't have ground power available about 8 times out of 10. This means having to start the APU to get power. Any clues? Also I don't seem to have dual channel autopilot / autoland.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpgSemper en excretum, solo profundum variat!

Do you have the parking brake on... and then wait patiently for a few seconds? It takes maybe 10 seconds after being fully parked with the brake on for ground power to show up.Jared Smith

For the autoland, make sure your generators are on.For the ground power, make sure that:1.) battery and standby power are both on2.) parking brake is onIt's not a glitch, otherwise it would've been fixed ;-)
