June 5, 200521 yr I posted yesterday that I was pleased with my CH quadrant - and I am - but I've got one glitch. In the PMDG (all models) the autobrakes no longer work on RTO and landing since I went to separate throttles for each engine and calibrated them for reversers as well.I've got a decent dead zone setup in fsuipc, so that the throttles are DEFINITELY at idle, not in reverse. But when rejecting a takeoff above 90 knots or when landing, I don't get the autobrakes any more.Has anyone else had a similar experience and did you find a solution?I'm not too worried - I'm much happier having throttles that I can yank back into reverse (and props I can feather on the 1900), but if there is a solution I'd like to find it.Best Wishes,
June 5, 200521 yr Tim,Try to set a dead zone on the brake axis as well. Noise from the pedals might disarm the autobrakes. That is my experience.Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
June 5, 200521 yr Hi, disable the filter option when calibrating CH-Hardware. I had the same problem with the toe brakes of the pedals. Best regards Jan-Paul
June 5, 200521 yr Took both your suggestions and SUCCESS!Now I'm REALLY happy.I love this forum. Thanks again!
June 6, 200521 yr >Where is the filter option? In the registered version of FSUIPC, when you use it to calibrate a joystick, there is a filter option that helps reduce noise on some controllers.
