hi PMDGis it possible to only have the VC view, i mean is there a way to get rid of the 2D panel completely?i fly 100% in VC nowVC convert! ;-)

no not really, its coded in to the .mdlYou could take the UI= txt out of the panel.cfg on the 2d only models and so you don't see them in the list if you like. You might be able to take the 2d panel info out of the panel.cfg and you would just see the front view on the cockpit view cycle, but I would not recomend this as flight sim likes to load the all the gauges it has for an a/c at start up.HTHSteve

Well i just deleted it right out of the cfg file, it works 100%.

Why exactly did you delete it? It doesnt make it run any faster does it?

no it doesnt make things run faster, i just deleted the text which relates to the 2D panel in the panel.cfg file for the 800 VC aircraft, instead of the 2D panel coming up, now all i see is the outside.

I'm pretty sure that's not a good idea as you're supposed to load the airplane in the 2d panel for them to load up properly

And what was the purpose of that again? Hit W twice and you have outside view too. :-lol To each his own, I guess. well i did take it out, so no 2D view anymore, it works 100% ok, no problems here.
