I thought it prudent to brush up on my B747-400 procedures and glass cockpit in preparation for the release of PMDG's offering. I installed PS1.3 on my new win XP machine and have it working except for the continuous engine sounds courtesy of VDM sound. Even with the limited "pics" disclosed so far, I have noted several differences (a bigger glare shield LOL) based upon airline type and configuration. It should be fun to "qualify" on PMDG's version!Any other PS1.3 users "practicing" before the release? :)Bob...

Actually, I have never stopped flying PS1.3 during the last 6 year. ;-) And like many other PS1 users, I am looking forward to the PMDG version of a 747-400 and I would love to compare those two simulators. Markus
