July 11, 200520 yr Hi guys,I was very lucky to be treated to some 744F CBT sessions and I was wondering if systemwise the 744 and 744F are the same aircraft.Just wondering if the the passenger and freight versions have the same seven seperate environmental sections, or does the passenger version have a different amount of sections? Many thanks in advance!Armen at EGLLwww.veryquiet.com Armen L CholakianPMDG Sound Engineer

July 11, 200520 yr also, if I recall correctly, the 744F has some sort of ballast fuel transfer system between the tail tanks and main tanks to maintain optimum cg.
July 12, 200520 yr Perhaps the Queen contains an easter egg, so that when you press CTRL-SHIFT-ALT-TAB-C-A-R-G-O the plane will instantly turn into a Cargo-edition ;-)http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpgPelle F. S. Liljendal
July 12, 200520 yr hy,I don't think that a 744f has any tail fuel tank. Cargolux aircafts don't have them.(they have the tanks, but they are deactivated and there is no equitement installed)
July 12, 200520 yr Hi, I think you are correct. I just flipped through my PS1 manual, and it lists as a possible eicas msg ">fuel ballast", which arises on the combi only.
