737NG & 737-800/737-900 Addon Problems

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.Firstly, apologies as I am sure this problem has already been posted but I am having a problem with the two PMDG add-ons for Flight Sim 2004 (FS9).Basically what is happening is when I try to run any of the aircraft in the 737-600/700 range, no instruments work. When I try to flick between the main cockpit and the overhead panel views, half the screen disappears.I have followed the instructions of first installing 737NG and then 737-800/900, followed by running the model update. I get the DOS windows as it copies the various files around but it doesn't seem to make any difference. On their own (i.e. when one is installed and not the other), both the addons work fine.My PC spec is:P4 3.0Ghz, 1Gb Ram, 120Gb HDD, 256Mb Radeon Graphics Card, Creative 5.1 sound card, Windows XP SP2. I have updated FS9 with the 9.1 update as well.Any help or advice would be gratefully received.ThanksChris

Chris,I suspect you have the CD version of the 800/900 installed. If so, go to Aerosoft's website and under the Patches area, download the 800/900 CD patch and your 600/700 should return to normal operation.RegardsPaul Gollnick :-cool Technical Operations/Customer Operational SupportPrecision Manuals Development Groupwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg
