Dear all,I am still a newbie with the 747 but I seem to have a problem with setting PAK3 it is displayed as off but the switch is set "correctly" I can start engines and fly normally but just wondering what I am doing wrong...I cant see anything obvious.Any help for a dimwit would be appreciatedThanksAndrew

We need more info....did you have the APU running and the APU BLEED VALVE switch on? The engine bleeds were closed or open and the ISLN. VALVE switches were closed or open?? Tell us. ;)

PACK3 also goes off when CARGO Fire detectors is armed...

Thanks for your advice, Chris has solved my problem I had the cargo fire switch armed and as a result had turned off pack 3.Thanks for your help - problem solvedAndrew
