Landing the 747. Views!!!!

Featured Replies

Hi.I love the 747 very much. But there is One thing that I miss very much on it. And that is a good 2d-panel view for landing. I have a pretty good, but not high end system but the 3d-cockpit takes the fps down pretty much. Especially if I also have scenery for the airport I use at the time. Now on the 737NG

Johan,I don't think it's possible unless PMDG does it.In the 747 the whole panel is 'hidden' in the gauge. But maybe it's possible to add a MINIPANEL like I did for the 737NG.The MINIPANEL is the one you get when you press the 'W' button.Have a look at this thread:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...d=78962&page=53The picture is gone, but what my modification does is replace the default Cessna gauges with the PFD and the ND.Edit: The modification was for the 737NG.CheersThomas

HiHave a look on avsim for pmdg747_2dview.zipDoes this help ?Steve

>>Have a look on avsim for pmdg747_2dview.zip>>Does this help ?>Steve,as I understand it Johan isn't looking for side views. What he's looking for is the approach or landing view you get in the 737 when you press the 'A' or 'L' button on the MZALFOTRC bar.CheersThomas
