Yes, it solved the problem. Thanks guys.

Thanks Kyle, I install using OC, mostly. Sometimes manually. But this affected all liveries, except the ones on the -800 model. I'll check with OC again and get back. Thanks.

Hi, I recently updated NGX to the latest version (both 738 and 736/7 packs. After this, all liveries, except those installed for the -800 are no longer present to select in FSX. When I try to re-install, I get a message that the livery already is installed. If I install it again, as a copy, the livery is available again. Just wondering what's wrong. /Johan

Hi, I use the MCP v3 by Opencockpits on my FSX NGX. Whenever I want to make a large change in any rotary-knob-setting (ie Altitude, Hdg, IAS/Mach...) turning it as fast as possible just makes it wobble back and forth on its current value setting. I have to find a "semi-fast" turning rate in order to make a larger value change somewhat quickly. I just wonder if this is a hardware limitation, or if there's a way to make fast input work better. I use the OC4BA interface between my MCP and FSX. (I've tried posting at their forum, but it doesn't seem to be the most active place.) all the best,

That's a good idea. I'll give it a try. Thanks Dan.

Thanks Dan. I'm not really sure why mine makes it disconnect then.. As I have set it to NEVER, I would assume that it wouldn't interfere once TOGA is pressed.
-
I also have a question regarding this. When I have klicked TOGA I usually move the throttles afterwards (to somewhat make them correspond with the physical setting that the motorized levers would do IRL) but even at low speeds this disarms the A/T all together and I have to re-arm it instantly. (I have set manual throttle to NEVER override in the NGX settings) Any ideas on when it would be "safe" to move the physical throttle, or is there any other way around it?

Opencockpits MCP not workaing after update

Yes, sorry I have forgotten to close this topic. I did a complete re-install of OC4BA, works fine. However, during lights test, my MCP does not longer correspond with what happens in the VC. But that's a minor issue. -
Opencockpits MCP not workaing after update

Yes sir, (if you're referring to the Options.ini) I think the issue is with OC4BA, but STILL no response from their support forum... Just gave it a shot here, if anyone else had issues. -
I recently re-installed and updated the NGX base + 6/700-pack on my FSX. Since the update, my MCP from Opencockpits will not connect. Anyone else had these problems? I use the OC4BA software with my MCP, but still waiting from support from their forums. All the best,

So I finally got the MCP from Opencockpits (v3, no box, Honeywell with backlight). I thought that this 'Plug and Play' product would be that, more or less. 3 hrs in, still scratching my head. This is for use with PMDG NGX in FSX. I understand that I need the connecting interface, SIOC, by the manufacturer, but there's another plugin required in order for it to communicate with PMDG. And this far I've only found this thing called OC4BA. The software is roughly 50€!!! I'm not in the financial mood to spend that at the moment.. There's a freeware version, but it is said not to work with the latest version of NGX. If anyone here use these products together, please let me know how to set it up in the easiest way. I've found a few tutorials like this one: https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?259000-Opencockpits-and-PMDG Which ALMOST takes me all the way, but there's always ONE link to a program I need to download which is dead, stopping me.. At the moment I have come as far as changing the SIOC.ini, that's about it. :( Any help here is greatly appreciated. Cheers, /Johan
