The use in explained in the manuals released with the aircraft, and also in the tutorials available. The FMC quide is PDF document 12 found in the PMDG folder with FS9 under 747/Operating Manuals. I don't think there is a better learning tool out there. Exactly what are you having problems doing?PS: Please sign your posts as requested in the forum rules.

The problems I have are that I dont't no how to set the FMC for takeoff, climb, cruise, approach and landing. And what I'm searching for is a flight from one to another place, step by step explained what you have to do with the FMC.Toto Marchand.

Toto,if you are able to remember your nick name (9946578123) you should be able to manage the FMC.;-) There is a short tutorial here:http://smithplanet.com/fs2004/pmdg/index.htmMaybe it helps. And the rest is learning, learning,...;-)CheersThomas

Also check out...http://www.precisionmanuals.com/downloads/...le=461&iType=19I don't want to make it sound simple, but if you follow the documentation supplied with the aircraft, I'm sure you will learn it quickly. Don't be in too big a hurry to fly, although it is a big temptation.

Yes the FMC can be a bit of a challenge and because of this I created a picture tutorial a while back just for newbies. (Think there are 80+ photos) Anyway it took me a bit of time to figure out so this tutorial was written from the beginning and will in easy terms walk you throught the entire configuration process and set you up for a short 30 minute flight. You can find it here:http://brettdonahue.com/content/view/13/25/If you want to give it a look.I should mention that it is done in the PMDG 737 NG but the concepts and things are the same for the 747 in that it is enough knowledge to get you going.Hope it helps and feel free to send me a note if you need further help.Bretthttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg

Brett,That is one awesome tutorial.. Thank you so much.MannyPS: I spotted 1 mistake. Page 4/8, where you are selecting the approach VORDME 06L.. you say "Now again to keep things simple I just hit the 1L button and get the following screen:"I think it should say 1R instead of 1L.PS2: How do you delete a way point and insert a waypoint in the middle?
