question about PMDG and updates or upgrades

Featured Replies

I've read alot about planes like the 737 and 747 pax version possibly never being updated, here is my question what happens when a new flight sim comes around example fs X will PMDG do everything they can to try to make it compatible or is the whole plane redesigned for the new sim thus another year before actually flying it again.Of course i beleive making it compatible will be the way to go, but i am just really curious on if I can carry over such an amazing plane to a new MS flight simulator, along with the 737.Thanks on any input.Happy flying!

Joe,We can't possible answer since no one at PMDG has seen FSX or the changes MS has made to the engine yet.

Ok sorry i was under the impression that PMDG did know the engine ms will use since there has been talk about fsx already therefore the core is already made. But I understand what you mean its too early to tell but if it can be done it will right, thats really my question?

Yeah FSX is not even in beta yet which is when I'd assume devs would get a first crack at it...
