Hi Dave,Yes, just select the new one from the DEP/ARR page and it will replace the one you had loaded earlier.

This topic does bring up an interesting point, often if you change arrival runway during flight, rather than deleting all the waypoints of the star it simply changes some and leaves a disco forcing you to delete various waypoints or you get a very strange plan. Im wondering what the accurate and efficient way to use the fmc to change the runway and or the entire star late in the flight?Mike

After selecting the new STAR and executing it- go to the legs page and line select (put in scratch pad,you may have to hit next page several times to see it) the first fix in the new star that you want to procede to and then put it/select L1 key and execute- the original star will be gone and the aircraft will be set up to go to the first or whatever fix you selected to go to-----Hope this helpsPhil

DISCons are a simple matter, if the starting point of the star you chose does not transition unto the last wpt prior to removal of the previous star then you will have a DISCon. You can fix this too simply be knowing what the star starting wpt is and loading this into your rte prior to adding the new star................Randy J.
