Suggestions re airfields in Germany

Featured Replies

Hi allI've just purchased Lago's mesh terrain for Southern Germany and as I am not familiar with that country I would appreciate any suggestions for airfields to fly from in the forest areas of Bavaria etc.TIADavid

Uhh David,Germany is really not a well represented country in FS2002. It took me a lot of add-ons to make it worthwhile (Lennart's textures, LandClass scenery pack, German airports and Gaia mesh to mention some). So really I do not have a lot of experience with the default scenery. However I would suggest that you check ou the area around the Bodensee. Start from Friedrichshafen EDNY and check out the area. The alps are right over the lake.Alex

For Germany get Aerosoft's German Airports 1 (GAP 1), 2 (GAP 2)& 3 (GAP 3).They are really making a difference. For details check http://www.aerosoft.de or http://www.aerosoft.comIf you like to go further south check out Austria Professional and in addition(preferably) Austrian Airports. They are incredible.(I live in Austria and can vouch for the accuracy of these add-ons.)BTW I am not affiliated with any of these companies.Try them. You'll like 'em.

I have to agree. Germany/Austria actually enjoy the highest quality (payware) airport/scenery add-ons available for FS out of any country on the globe.Michael J.

A 100% agree frm here about all your suggestions.Either not affilated to those companies. It is common knowledge that this is the good stuff.Alex
