PMDG 737NG 600/700/800/900 CTD Problems

Featured Replies

Hello all of you at PMDG. You guys really have an amazing product, but I believe that I have stumbled upon a new CTD problem involving the 737NG 600, 700 while the 800, 900 are installed. My girlfriend soon to be wife purchased my original 737NG from you guys in Oct, Nov 2005. I loved that plane so she also bought the 737NG 800 and 900 update pack from you for X-mas. Just like the first time I loved the add on of the TCAS and the added features to the FMC. Well since then I have started taken my flight simulator to a new level. I bought a new computer consisting of the following equipment.Athlon 64 3500+ processor MSI K8N SLI main board2 gig of DDR RAM160 gigabyte SATA hard drive550 watt power supplySound blaster sound cardOk here is where it began the system is setup with Windows XP 64bit addition

See this post: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho..._id=12496&page=Haven't been able to test this out yet, but I've had that problem with the feelthere 737 as well so I'm not sure it is a PMDG specific problem. Let me know how it goes.Marc Beck

I've seen a lot of comment about this problem. It isn't in any way limited to PMDG aircraft. I have no duplicate AFCADs, or landclass with texture folders, and was getting the fault in flights of less than 3 hours with several complex aircraft. I use UT, GE, ASV6, and RC4.01 - after testing, I don't think any of these are the problem. I can now go up to (at least) 3.5 hours by simply setting the autogen slider to the center (normal) position, rather than dense or very dense.DJ
