Featured Replies

http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/5276/fmc8gk.jpgWhen in LNAV mode (not in Course mode) and I add waypoint or a Radio Aid, I got this curious random text (wich change all the time) after the type of the Radio Aid or WaypointIs that normal ? Or a bug ? Thank you !Fran

Francois,Interesting... I'll see what I can come up with. Looks like a Font issue to me.What language are you running Windows and FS in?

I also get this some times as well. It will only occur in the FIX page after I enter a fix identification that has multiple occurences (i.e many fixes with the same ident). When the FMC loads up the page where I must select one of the avilable fixes it might show up, just like in the pic above. I'm running portuguese (for Brazil) WinXP. I decided not to complain about it though because it really is so minor... but since you guys will take a look...Best Regards,Victor Limahttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg

I just did a complete FS2004 reinstallation and issue still here at every stage, from 600/700 up to latest 800/900 update.

Alex perhaps you misunderstood me. What I meant is sometimes this page that loads up, which is obviously not a bug, will appear with faulty fonts. I do know that the page is supposed to appear whenever you have multiple waypoints with the same ident, mine just don;t display correctly. See the pic posted in this topic's first post and you will see what I mean. Best Regards,Victor Limahttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg

We see curious font bug rather than FIX or position of the FIX information. Note that we see this changing every second with another random curious special chars.

Hi, I have the same problem. Is there any solution? Jan-Paul

There probably will be. For 737NGX I mean. It doesn't upset me though, it's such a small thing. Truth be told, after I tried a certain developer's 777-200LR and their crazy Vnav and slow fps nothing PMDG does could possibly upset me! Sorry for the flame. I couldn't help it. (well I wasn't entirely unethical. No one knows which company I'm talking about :-sae )Best Regards,Victor LimaSBGLhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/800driver.jpg
