June 16, 200619 yr It seems that the strobe light location in the wings is off inboard. As far as I know, the strobe lights should be in the wing tips, next to the position (navigation) lights. Unfortunately, the location is built into the model file and thus isn't easy to change. Do you have a correction for this issue or is it planned for a future patch?.Thank you and regards,Christian Conesa.
June 16, 200619 yr If I remember correctly there are limitations on the wing strobe lights due to the combination of FS limitations and the wing flex modeling. George Morris
June 16, 200619 yr Author May well be but other wing flexing aircraft have been able to solve the issue (such as PSS 777 and LDS 767).Christian.
June 16, 200619 yr have they?? IMHO there may be others who see it a bit differently... Now ducking for cover! :-outta :-) George Morris
June 17, 200619 yr I guess it depends on your definition of "wingtip". The strobes are mounted on a curved/sweptback corner of the end of the wing (not on the upturned wingtips). The strobes are inboard of the nav lights, thus further inboard than the nav lights.Cheers.Q>
