Updates for PMDG 747-400/400X now available!
I was considering doing a fresh install of the B744 but I wonder if I have to install previous patches and so on before applying this latest patch?. I have the original v1 release of both the PAX version and F versions plus several updates since including a sound enhancement file that is no longer available (is it included in the latest patch?).I have been experiencing problems with the VOR location in the ND for some unknown reason it does not show within the "needles" but DME is shown... The radio frequency is properly set in the FMC and the correct setting is applied in the glareshield but I cannot get the steer line to show correctly. Am I missing a step?.Regards,Christian Conesa.

VC upgrade
Hi all,When the C47 expansion came out it brought in new additions to the VC plus some other refinements to the model file. This improvements / changes were to be implemented to the passenger and cargo versions but I haven't seen anything on it for a long time. Is the upgrade due to come out soon?. Would appreciate your news on the subject.Regards,Christian Conesa.

Is Transponder Vatsim compliant?
First of all, congrats on the release of this new pack. This is a great aircraft and getting better and better all the time.Is it possible to make the transponder compliant with the latest Squawkbox so SB can be turned on and off from the DC3 transponder?.Regards,Christian.

B747-400 strobe lights location
May well be but other wing flexing aircraft have been able to solve the issue (such as PSS 777 and LDS 767).Christian.

B747-400 strobe lights location
It seems that the strobe light location in the wings is off inboard. As far as I know, the strobe lights should be in the wing tips, next to the position (navigation) lights. Unfortunately, the location is built into the model file and thus isn't easy to change. Do you have a correction for this issue or is it planned for a future patch?.Thank you and regards,Christian Conesa.

ASv6 (SU1-C) Vatsim metar updates
Hi all.I am finding the online update of the vatsim weather to be off. In a check tonight, the downloaded weather was shown as being 090000Z whereas doing a check on SB3 the metar time was shown as 090100Z. Basically, an hours difference. It seems that, in general, the AS6 weather is about an hour off from the vatsim server. Is this normal?, can it be corrected?.Regards,Christian Conesa.

Google Earth Satellite photos
Hello. Is it possible to use Google earth satellite photos in sceneries or are we infringing copyrights?. I'd like to do a photoreal scenery based on the google images but don't dare to do anything until I have this point clear.Regards,Christian.

B1900D update
Hello all.Are we likely to see an update to the B1900D to bring in some features of the 1900C?. I am thinking of the fuel gauges and some of the other new features as well as support for the new reality-xp gauges (2005).Christian

FMC Indicating insufficient fuel
I have further tested the Pmdg 737 and it is indeed the rate of simulation that throws the estimate and creates the insufficient fuel message. When run at x1, it correctly shows fuel at destination. Mistery solved.Regards, Christian Conesa.

FMC Indicating insufficient fuel
>Are you accelerating the sim during a long flight?Hi Steve,Yes I was. Maybe that explains why in the climb the fuel left was correct but upon acceleration it showed insufficient fuel. Thanks for the tip, I will try again and see what happens.Regards, Christian Conesa.

FMC Indicating insufficient fuel
I have just done a 2,300NM flight (5 hours) with the 737-700 using the latest specs introduced by the -800 & -900 release. As soon as I reached the intended flight level I got a message in the FMC saying that there was insufficient fuel to reach the destination, however, before the TOC the fuel left estimative stated aprox 9.5K lbs *:-*. I had done the fuel calculation with the latest version (v3) and clearly stated that with MTOW I would have some 8,000lb worth of fuel on landing. At the end of the flight I had just over 7,000lb of fuel left but the FMC indicated up to landing that there was "insufficient fuel". Is there a bug in the FMC? or have I done something wrong in the programing (I followed the set route)(-:?.Please advise. Regards,Christian Conesa.PS: Great aicraft!!!
