Throttle Quadrant and FMC

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone, just a couple of quick questions,1. Does anyone have and use the GoFlight Throttle Quadrant and if so did you have any problems with setting up, possibly for the 737?2. I ahve finally worked out how to use the FMC, one thing that I can't figure out, and have read the manuall over and over, is how do you activate a flightplan that you have in the "system" (one that has been saved from before)Thanks for your feedbackWayne :-)

In regards to #2, you need to etner the name that you saved it under into the COROUTE line. COROUTE is stands for "Company Route" and is just that- so airlines that fly the same thing over and over don't have to re-enter the flight plan everytime.

Another method for #2 retrieving an FMC saved plan:INET REF - INDEX - NAVDATA - FLTPLNSwill give page(s) of plan names available.CLR any scratchpad messages. If the plan is not on the current page NXT page until you get to the page with your desired plan.LSK next to the plan name to place it in the scratchpad.RTE and get to page one.LSK the boxes under CO ROUTE and the name in the scratchpad will load.At this time you can activate, check the route if you wish, and then EXE to make it available. This saves on typos :) .
