If you move the joystick, it will disconnect the auto-pilot. It doesn't matter what view you're using. Have you done this in the past? Ken.
June 30, 200619 yr yes its possible if i move the stick it will disconnect the A/P...is there a way around this?regardsbondhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...argo_hauler.gifhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg
June 30, 200619 yr If you haven't already done so go to the PMDG menu in FS under General/Options and check to see if under AFDS you have the controls Override boxes checked. You want them unchecked. The other more likely cause is that if you activate trim the AP will disconnect. If your hat switch is also controlling the trim that would be your problem. Tom Landry

July 10, 200619 yr ok, i have now got back into the cockpit to try the suggestion...the boxes for AFDS are unchecked and still if i move the joystick it will dissconnect, would i be right in saying this is normal? and do i just have to be careful when moving the top hat for view that i hold the stick steady..would that be a fair assessment?thanks in advanceregardsbondhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/for...argo_hauler.gifhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg
