are you talking about the flap handle (F5-F8 on Keyboard, located physically on pedestal) or the hyd power that enables the flaps? Hyd. power switches are in the overhead panel.- Neeraj.

you won't fly the pmdg 744 without reading the manual anyway ;) for the flaps you have to correctly power-up your bird first. as far as I know, you set the flaps after pushback and engine start.good learning documents are the trc's at the pmdg homepage or the adavnced tutorial by holger seitz.have fun@lex
