Hello fellow airmen, While climbing to a higher altitude the message "Check ALT TGT" appears in the FMC message display. What is the Flight Computer trying to tell me?Marc

It's telling you that there is a mismatch between the FMC altitude and the MCP altitude.Mike

Only part of the answer to be fair.You need to enter the new cruising height in the FMC and the message will go away.BTW on return flight from FIMP to EGLL in the 747. As always performing perfectly and only 9 hours to go!!John
