October 13, 200619 yr I have installed some of the liveries for the 'Queen', some with other engines than the default model eg; the Qantas 747-400 with RR RB211 engines. This is not reflected on the fmc/ident page, where the default powerplants are still listed. I can accept this if it is normal (possibly something to do with FS9 programming)and I have been attempting to absorb the many manuals and type rating courses (gratefully)but I may have missed how to change this in the fmc. I'd appreciate comments or assistance.JonAdded: All NAVdata etc. has been updated.
October 13, 200619 yr Jon,If you have the pax version this is normal. The aircraft was modelled with only one engine type but availibility to add models with visually different engine types. The cargo version will incorporate the difference in engine versions into the pax systems modelling as well...Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
October 13, 200619 yr Author Thank you for your reply, Mats. The 737 was going to be my next purchase but I think the 400F will be a better proposition. The 737 will have to wait a month or so.Jon Shearer
