Sounds like you are not using a coroute. A coroute is an imported flight plan and would be in the form of (for example) EGLLKJFK. After entering this into the scratchpad you then click coroute and it inserts the plan.Look in the PMDG folder in FS9 and you will find a whole load of coroutes there. Downloading http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=73134 will give you a list of all the flights. However you really need to read Section 12 of the manual to get a clear idea of what to do.ps - in this forum you have to sign your posts otherwise they can get deleted. read the forum guidelines near the top of the page.

You can save it as a coroute by pressing the "RTE" button on the FMC and pressing the "route copy" LSK.Example: You created a route using FS9.The route fly's from KLAX ( Los Angeles) to KDEN (Denver), you can then save it as a coroute as described above. You will see in the scrtch pad "KLAXKDEN001 saved"Next time you want to make the flight type KLAXKDEN001 into the scrtch pad and press the LSK next to coroute and the FMC will except it.With a little practice you will play the FMC like a piano!Luck
