everytime i attempt to take a flight in the 747-400F, and input the data into the fmc, flight simulator will give me send me a message saying "FS9 has encountered an error and will have to close" it then ends flight simulator and says you can report the problem or leave it. can anyone share some light on this subject? it only happens in the 747-400F and occasionally in the 747-400lyle

I have had this problem a few times and it always seems to be a scenery problem. I had this a lot when flying to KSFO at night from the northwest around the Point Reyes area. But, it occurred with all kinds of aircraft.Try taking off at a different airport (if you have not already) and a different day/month/season and see if the problem still occurs.Have you tried reinstalling the PMDG 747?Good luck.
