November 10, 200619 yr Hi, Not sure where to post this, but I notice high OAT at high altitudes. Why is that? Even with all wx off (no 3d party) en CAVOK. temperatures in the mid-30's are still around -17 deg C!That's way too high.Anybody having the same readouts?regardsTee Loo
November 10, 200619 yr Tee Loo,Are you sure you're not mixing up TAT and OAT?Hope it helps, Mats JohanssonPMDG Flight Test Dept | Asus Z270-A | Intel i5-7600K @ 4.8 GHz OC/H2O | nVidia Geforce GTX 1070 8GB OC/O2|
November 11, 200619 yr Hi Tee Loo,You are probably confusing TAT with OAT. -17C sounds like a good TAT for that altitude. TAT takes into account the ram rise caused by the air friction on the aircraft. Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.sstsim.com/images/team/JR.jpgwww.SSTSIM.com
