November 29, 200619 yr Gents,I've just bought a newer and faster computer and am trying to install both the 747 and 747F but I get a message saying that flightsim is not installed on the drive. I've read the brief which says that I should then browse the directory and guide the installer to the right path. The only problem with this though, is that I cannot get rid of that message. The only way of stopping the message displaying is to remove it from the taskbar, thus aborting the whole installation.I'm desperate to get the old bird up again. Would someone be able to help me PLEASE!Many thanks in advanceMark.
November 30, 200619 yr Commercial Member Mark,It sounds like something corrupted your registry location for FS9. This has become a fairly common problem since FSX was released as it appears to cause registry errors on some installations. The good news is that you can download the registry correction tool from the Avsim file library and correct the problem. Once you do that, things should work normally.RegardsPaul Gollnick :-cool Technical Operations/Customer Operational SupportPrecision Manuals Development Groupwww.precisionmanuals.comhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/devteam.jpg Paul Gollnick Manager Customer/Technical Support Precision Manuals Development Group www.precisionmanuals.com
