February 25, 200719 yr I know this is a bit late in the discussion but I have a similar problem. The only difference is that LNAV will not hand off when I deviate for weather. Here's basically what happpens.Whenever I fly trans-Atlantic flights out of London, I always manage to find a storm in the same place; about 300 miles west of Ireland. Anyway, despite my altitude, turbulence is still a problem so I deviate and fly around the storm. I usually miss one waypoint along the way but when I re-intercept my track, the FMC won't automatically hand me off to the next waypoint. It says I have to turn around to overfly the waypoint I missed. I usually make sure I'm on track and override the FMC by promoting the next waypoint. Then everything is fine. Is this my only option?Ryan GamurotLucky to live Hawai'ihttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/supporter.jpg Ryan Gamurot
