February 25, 200719 yr Thanks to George and others I finally became interested in using the FMC and so forth. Why is it that when I create or import a flight plan (bought FSBuild) the FMC calculates the Top of Descent as do dang close to the arrival airport, such that the speedbrake needs to be actuated practically all the way to the ground? Strangely (to me, the uninformed) the default ATC starts your descent way way before the FMC's stepped descent. It's very easy to not be able to make the VNAV path and I'm wondering what I may be doing wrong, or not.
