Hi,I was wondering something. When I program the FMC route with alt and spd for each waypoint, it will not automatically change the alt. I have to do it manually. I noticed that when flying the LevelD, this is done automatically.So which one is the realistic one. And can it be done automatically in the 747?Tnx.Rayen

Hello,You will have to change the alt window your self. If for example you set 8,000 in the window and have alt restrictions in the fmc between your present height and 8,000 in the descent the aircraft will level at these restrictions until clear of them.It will not however go below the alt set in the mcp window,if you have the fmc programmed with crossing heights or not.cheersJon
