On a flight from WSSS to YSSY, I had an aircraft cross my flight path a few hundred feet below me. Needless to say, my TCAS went crackers. It told me to climb but as I could see we would miss, I decided to continue on as normal. While the conflicting aircraft was within maybe a quarter mile, the A/P disengaged and I suddenly started to climb. What plane was that? An Airbus? Sounds like Airbus behaviour :)Seriously though, if you were on final, an autopilot disconnect should at least have kept you on the same trajectory, not start a climb!Paul
