July 30, 200223 yr Isn't this file where a lot of the flight dynamics of the aircraft are located? And, if so, how do I open it for editing? Thanks!Heather
July 30, 200223 yr With AirEd, available at Flightsim.Com. But its still pretty confusing when you get in there. But the supreme commander of the FDE is the aircraft.cfg file, which means FS will use everything covered there, then go on the air file. I use AirEd to make aircraft not show on the aircraft menu when my brother plays FS hehehe :-hahhttp://212.212.159.238/svedude/imagesP/sqcoasig.jpg

If you decide to continue and want more information, just give a holler.Best regards.Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
July 30, 200223 yr Have a look also at the Air File Decoding forum at www.avhistory.com for information on undocumented air file registers. Latest aired.ini file is also available there to get the most out of AirEd.Paco
July 30, 200223 yr Thanks guys for all the feedback! I really do appreciate it.I'm still waiting on a couple of fellas to see if they have any luck in attempting to change the flight dynamics of the Grumman Duck. But it's nice to know that I can now access this stuff if I have to.I HOPE not!!But it's nice to have the ammunition at hand. Thanks!Heather
