Problems changing view mode in 737s

Featured Replies

Hi. With all my other aircraft, including payware, Shift+S on the keyboard changes the panel view backwards, so I can, for instance, go directly from cockpit to spot view.In PMDG a/c the Shift+S key does nothing and I can only change views 'forwards'. How can I set up things so that Shift+S works with the PMDG a/c as with all my others? Thanks,Martin

Hi Martin, while you're waiting for the guys to wake up and give you an informed answer, I can tell you that in my PMDG 737-800 the Shift+S combination does exactly what you want it to do - cycles the views backwards. Can't help you fix the problem but my guess is that the problem is somehow with your setup rather than the aircraft.CheersGeoff

Odd - the PMDG is the only a/c that doesn't work in this way. Nothing to programme for this in the PMDG options (assignments) menu in FS either. But if it works for you, it must (?!) work for me too.. (surely? ...)I'll have another look.M. :-)

After all this time, and purely for the record, I found out what the problem was: I had the view settings set to another key, not Shift+S - a n assignment which was already in use in PMDG. By changing the keyboard assignments so as they do not conflict, all works as it should.Bit of a 'no brainer' really in the end..M.
