Still Problems with what seams like RTO Autobrake issue

Featured Replies

Hi Peeps,Just to let you know that although many of you have come up with some really good possible suggestions to my brake problem in my 737-700 I am still having problems.I am just posting this cause something slightly different has happened today and there might be a solution.....I have been flying for about 3hrs now without a problem, until I got knocked by a slight bit of wind, speeding the airplane up. The engines, quite rightly then decreased speed to slow the aircraft down and it wasn't until this point that the brakes came on. Just like RTO would work on the runday?I have disabled the joystick and the gears are up (I am at FL325 lol) and RTO is turned off.Suggestions anyone? Many ThanksMatt

Sorry to reply to my own post, not very good but I have an update.Just noticed that the brakes symbol in the bottom left hand side of the screen didn't come on until the aircraft leveled out on the assent (there was an altitude restriction on the SID). Once it did that, the brakes came on and have stayed on now.I have tried disabling autopilot etc, but nothing happens :(TaMatt

Matt:The brakes message at the bottom left is for wheel brakes only (no spoiler/speed brake deployment) so there should be NO effect on your flight (until touchdown when things would get VERY interesting). The point is, you can fiddle with your rudder pedal/brake settings until your null zone is large enough where you do not get spurious brake input. That should fix it- If you don't have pedals- I haven't got a clue!Good Luck!Best-Carl F. Avari-Cooper BAW0225http://online.vatsimindicators.net/980091/523.png
