747-400x TCAS/nav aid problem?

Featured Replies

I am currently using vista 64-bit and FSinn, when flying online i dont get any traffic on my TCAS. I have the transponder to TA/RA and i have TFC selected on the map display. Any help?I am also having the same problem as with the fs9 queen where the nav aids dont ident and the CDI dont come up. Any ideas there?Kevin Henchey

Anyone else having this problem? PMDG support any help?Kevin

If you're talking about the 747-400X for Flight Simulator X, then you need FSUIPC for online flying. The FS9 issue you're describing has to do with the way nav aids are handled with our internal radio - check to see if you have a scenery that mucks with the magnetic variation file (magdec.bgl).

I got the same problem, an MD-11 just nearly cut my Lufthansa 744 in half over greenland.Regards,Ceri

I have the current FSUIPC for fsx and that didnt fix the TCAS problem. I have done that fix with FSINN settings and i still dont get the CDI needles all the time. I had FS running with 2 identified VORs and CDIs then i started FSINN and then the VORs were no longer indentifed and the CDIs went away.Kevin

Hi Kevin by any chance, are you using Reality XP WX500????If you are then that's the problem. Man I have it, I love it, and I can't use it..:(
