I found the best solution is to load the default cessna first swicthing off the avionics and magnetos and pressing CTRL-F1 to ensure that the engines are completely shut down. When you load the PMDG 744 after this, everything is completely cold and dark and no engines running! The IRS DC problem was resolved by extending the battery llife in FSUIPC as suggested.Best Regards,Ceri Hurlow
