FSX accelaration DX10 expansion pack

Featured Replies

Hey,As the subject may suggest already, is the PMDG 747X compatible with the new expansion pack?If so, do we still need FSX SP1 for the expansion pack? Or is it integrated in the expansion pack?

Ramon-first off, let's not call it the "DX10 expansion pack" as that's a bit misleading. It's the Microsoft Flight Simulator Acceleration Pack (which contains SP2 according to ACES, and a preview of DX10 work that should be further addressed in FS11).The answer is yes, we're 100% compatible with Acceleration Pack - and you might even notice a *slight* performance gain with it, as SimConnect performs a bit faster in SP2/Accel pack.

Ok thanks,It's still confusing, some sites call it the DX10 expansion pack addon while others call it a regular addon.Anyway, fantastic to have the 747 available for FSX. :)
