November 7, 200718 yr In the 2D cockpit the scrollwheel can be used to change various settings quickly (eg, altitude / heading/ speed settings on the MCP). But in the virtual cockpit it has no effect. Is this by design? Or am I missing something? My mouse is a wireless Logitech "Revolution"; the o/s is Vista 64.RgdsTim Morshead 14900ks, RTX4090, 64Gb@6000-30-36-36-T2, Samsung 990Pro 2Tb , Dell G3223Q 32" 4k Gsync + 27" secondary monitor. November 9, 200718 yr >Tim,>>It's a limitation of how our VC works unfortunately. Is this "Limitation" going to be fixed? other VC can, and while you cant use any hardware with your sim, it them makes using the VC even harder having to keep your mouse so still while trying to remain on a click spot.James Carr(EGBB ATCO)
November 9, 200718 yr Commercial Member Unlikely James, sorry. We build our VCs using a different method than other companies do and this is one of the side-effects. The tradeoff is higher detail, more moving parts, and smoother glass displays though. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
November 14, 200718 yr Perhaps a good argument for the offsets to be published then, with my Smooth glass cockpit displays I get with PMDG, i wouldnt need my scroll wheel if i could use my MCP with the 747! LOLJames Carr(EGBB ATCO)
