please could you tell me what software u used to develop the virtual cockpit for the 747x, im assuming it was somthing more complex than fsds or gmaxthanksKav

Hi Kav,Actually, since the original PMDG747-400 was developed for FS9, I primarily used GMAX, since Microsoft did not provide exporters for 3D Studio Max (although it is possible with certain workarounds). My tool of choice, however, is 3D Studio Max. Some parts of the PMDG747-400 VC were built in Max and later exported to GMAX. Thanks Vini'm suprized i thought it was done on a whole higher level than gmax. I have to say having looked in to this field a little of design?creation of vc.s i now am beginning to realy appreciete what u achieved with the 747 from just reference photos not quite sure how u managed it but an excellent job which realy creates that feel there aspect. It looks like u have even stepped it up with the MD11 too. Kav
