Czarek,The joystick calibration and assignment functionality in FSUIPC is excellent if you ask me. I use it as my one stop for anything joystick related in both FS9 and FSX. You need the registered version of both though. That being said you don't *have* to use FSUIPC provided the joystick manufacturer ships software to assign key strokes to joystick buttons etc.Hope it helps,
