Well Im tired of starting directly from the runway. Is there a way so you can start at the gate everytime you start a new flight ? Half of the fun is queing and taxing./M

When you create your flight, and choose the airport, you can select the runway / starting position down in the bottom lefthand of the 'go to airport' screen. You can usually pick gate numbers from here.Hope that helps,Gareth Evans

... but then, shut off the engines, save the flight, and check 'Make this flight the default flight' (or something like that). Everytime you startup FS2002, you'll find yourself at the place you've selected before saving that flight with the engines shut off.

In addition to what the others said, if you're using FS2002, if you create a flight with the flight planner, you can select the gate or area of the airport that it will start from.
