FSX Crew uninstall problem.....

Featured Replies

first off, my name is Peter Belbin.Ok, if you've read my other post about FSX+Accel and the inability to fuel the aircraft.....since I have not heard anything as yet about that from this forum, I thought I'd try the nasty uninstall/reinstall.well, I bought both the 747-400X and the FS2Crew add-on, and, installed the 1.01 update.so, now, I've managed to uninstall everything except the initial FS2Crew.it appears that having added the 1.01 update to FS2Crew has messed up the uninstall of the 1.0 part.here are a series of images that show what I'm experiencing:1. this is how it looks before I ask to uninstall:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/185748.jpg2. yep, that's what I want to do, but, notice the 1.01 version number? that update has already been uninstalled. this should be uninstalling 1.0...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/185749.jpg3. ok, now it's complaining...http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/185750.jpg4. and again....http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/185751.jpg5. success (or that's what I'm lead to believe)http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/185753.jpg6. until I look at the list of apps, and IT'S STILL THERE!!!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/185752.jpgthe process can be repeated as many times as you like - it makes not difference.

Peter,Try to post this a couple of flights down at the FS2Crew forum. They will be able to help you out with this.Hope it helps,
