March 23, 200818 yr Good day,I cannot operate the thrust reversers on my fs9 747-406F 1.1. This model is GE engine variant, so the T/R's are pneumatically actuated and electrically controlled. All requirements are met.-ground mode-engine running-fire switch normal-pneumatic pressure supplied-electrical power suppliedIt seems this bird needs to have its respective SYS FAULT light distinguished on the hydraulic control panel in order to translate those sleeves. Applying/removing pneumatic pressure does not effect the operation of the T/R's. Remember it's not PW4000 series...or is it?Anyone else experiencing the same, or it's just my own setup that's totally messed up?regards, delcom
March 26, 200818 yr Hi again,I just discovered, that all three PMDG engine variants of mine power their respective thrust reversers by means of hydraulic power.Have I missed something?regards, delcom
March 26, 200818 yr Commercial Member delcom,Have you checked your joystick calibration on the throttle axis? If it's still ahead of neutral even when you bring it all the way back, it can prevent the reversers from operating. March 26, 200818 yr Commercial Member With all HYD systems off except number 4 on AUX I only get No 4 reverser active. Each HYD system seems to power it's own reverser. This is on the ground with Engines off and EXT power. Not sure about when the engines are running. No mention of loss off reverser's with loss of HYD system in the ABNORMAL QRH Just possible reverser deployment in flight.Rob Rob Prest
